Guest Reviews From Wilson Island

We stayed for 5 nights at the end of our Australian trip. The island is truly chilled out and total relaxation. Our hosts, Nathan and Lynda really know what they are doing in their approach to ensuring guests have no stress, and are totally unaware what day of the week it is or time ! Even the Mutton birds eventually send you to sleep ! The food is amazing, and a what a talented chef Nathan is. Wilson island is a true find and well worth a visit, we had the chance to witness a Green Turtle laying her eggs one evening, just watching her come out of the ocean under the moonlight and allowing us to spend 4 brilliant hours with her under the moonlight was an experience, and after all this is what Wilson is about, the nature. We were somewhat apprehensive of staying in a ' luxury tent ', and not having running water but the shower cubicles are not a problem, and supplied with Molton Brown accessories. Please however, dont do what some guests had done, and think you are going on a pampering spa holiday, as this is also not what Wilson is about. If you want a vacation that is back to nature and sheer relaxation then GO TO WILSON.
